Leveraging Technology to Deliver Justice Across Borders
Technology has truly transformed the way justice is delivered in India. Recently, I had the privilege of arguing a matter for a brilliant postgraduate medical student from Moga, Punjab, who secured a DM Cardiology seat at Bikaner Medical College, Rajasthan. When a dispute arose with the institution, the student entrusted me with the case.
Sitting in my office in Jabalpur, I was able to appear before the Hon’ble Jodhpur High Court through virtual proceedings—without any travel, without delay. The court granted the much-needed relief, reaffirming my belief in how technology is empowering litigants across the country.
I often tell my juniors: use technology to serve the poorest of the poor. For me, this is my form of philanthropy—using my legal knowledge to support meritorious medical students, many of whom face exploitation across India.
Securing a DM Cardiology seat in the general category is proof of the student’s exceptional merit. I am grateful for the blessings of my parents and the Almighty, which continue to guide me as I help deserving students get justice.
